Sales Engineer (all genders)
As a Sales Engineer, you will bring added-value and technical know-how to the sales engineering process. You will play a crucial role in researching opportunities in (international) sales projects. Your main task will be the preparation of extensive, carefully designed quotations that include detailed technical and commercial information for our international customers. You will work closely with a team of technical specialists within the Berghof Membranes organization in Leeuwarden and San Sebastian and support our Regional Sales Managers in finalizing sales contracts and agreements. Our team in Leeuwarden consists of a Sales Manager, Sales engineer, Management assistance, Process Engineer and customer support. You will report directly to the Manager Sales & Customer Support of Berghof Membranes.

- Translation of the customers’ requests into a winning technical and commercial quotation;
- To discuss with the customer process related documentation during quotation phase, such as P&IDs and PFDs;
- Working as connector between international Sales Managers, Process Engineering and the Knowledge Center;
- Continuous improvement of the Sales Engineering tools and output.
- Bachelor’s or master’s Degree in (Chemical) Engineering, Water Technology or similar field;
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Dutch and German is a pre);
- Proactive team player who is comfortable balancing commercial and technological arguments;
- Problem-solving and flexible attitude to overcome challenges on the fly;
- Monday, Tuesday and Thursday physical presence in the office in Leeuwarden (Wednesday and Friday from home).
